Arkali Elven: The Hidden Chapters: Chronicle IX: Aranel of the Sea Kingdom: Chapter 6 & 7

 Chapter 6

Aranel was sweeping down the ocean like an eagle on the wind flying. Ha had finally found some withering Aglen plants. He sighed. As he went deeper, he found the place having the sound of hammer. he wished he could have brought some Merpeople to help him keep company. Then he found a good patch of Aglen. With his godsilver knife, he hacked cutting fine bunches of the plant. Then he began to rise, when his way was blocked by Argeleb III. He was l0oking extremely scarred with a fine amount of blood all over his body. He looked so angry that it was scary. Argeleb swung his Double Battle-axe looking ready to kill. Aranel slammed his knife to fend the blow. It came ringing hard into his right arm. With in a few seconds, Aranel had his broadsword. Aranel swung the sword, fending off attacks and throwing some strikes of his own. Argeleb was ready now, to use his magic. His BloodGold-Ruby ring (a villain's) shone as it summoned as much power it could. Then without thinking, he grabbed his GodSilver-Sapphire ring (a 'hero's') that had never worked and pointed it at Argeleb. Argeleb was literally knocked out and a gap appeared in the ground. Argeleb slipped into it. Aranel realised it was towards Elrisden's core palace, where the Gods sometimes came.

Chapter 7

As Aranel gave the Aglen plant back home, he told of all his adventures. "...and I swam past the Merpeople's place seeing it had returned to normal and then, I sort of asked the ring to transport me back here." Aranel finished. Seaber smiled. "Looks like we have a wizard in the making!" And that is the end of the great tale of Aranel, although Aranel became a great wizard.

Arkali Elven: The Hidden Chapters: Chronicle IX: Aranel of the Sea Kingdom: Chapter 4 & 5

 Chapter 4 

The Merpeople were fighting at the greatest strengths they could use. But the Walking Volcano was just too strong. It sent out spurts of lava and rock and destroyed the whole place. As Aranel arrived, he unsheathed his godsilver (The strongest type of metal) sword. He also took out a healing vial that he had brought with him. Then he looked around for a club shaped wood and once he found one, he mushed a seaweed on the ground. It gave him something like a thick gluey paste, just as Aranel had expected. Then he quickly scurried towards the volcano's feet. Then, he smeared the paste all over the volcano's feet. The volcano tried to move his feet. He found he couldn’t. So, he put down the other leg to put in more force. Which resulted in this – his feet sunk in glued into the sand covered rock and the other leg still glued down. The merpeople had the moment. They hurtled spears, tridents and all sorts of weapons. Then, slowly the volcano sunk deep into the sand. The Merpeople didn’t know but Aranel knew that Argeleb the III was inside the volcano. So, he yelled to the Merpeople, “Throw anything into the volcano”. Hearing that, everyone threw rocks, sand, seaweed – anything that came in hand. And then, everyone heard vibration. Everyone began to scram. Aranel put the rest of the paste onto the top, sealing the exit and swam away.  

Chapter 5 

The Merwarriors looked fearful as they heard the volcano explode. Then, seeing Ranaldi and his warriors, they could breathe. However, none of them could see Aranel. They were a bit worried, as without him, they wouldn’t have defeated the walking volcano.

 Chapter 2

Aranel had a nasty feeling of being trailed. However, every time he turned around, there was nothing left to ever see. He swam deeper but every time he did, things only got worse. He knew these waters as the great sea kingdom of the Merpeople, but all he could see was ruins. In the distance he could see a beautiful lighted castle, the Castle of Alfora. It was the only thriving civilization he could see so he swam closer and closer towards it. The gates - for the first time – were shut. There, a great royal guard stood guard over the gate tower. Aranel got closer and spoke to the guard. “Why is the gate closed?” Aranel asked. “Because Argeleb the III the current leader of the opposition gods, has invaded our territories. But I can let you enter.” said the guard. “Thanks,” said Aranel, as he entered. The place had changed as well. Where there had been great parks, there were people training, wielding tridents and other weapons. There were no children running around, giggling. There were Mersoldiers gliding doing battle drills. Aranel swam all the way to the Merking’s royal palace. As he reached the great gates of the Merking Ranaldi, he slit his pearl into a gap (a bit like when you put in your credit card into the cash machine). Then, the gate opened and Aranel glided in. The place had many rooms which Ranaldi could be in. He decided to ask someone. However, when a servant told him that Ranaldi was not in the castle, Aranel was dismayed. The servant told Aranel that the king was out fighting the monstrous nightmare of the walking volcano created by Argeleb III. 

Chapter 3 

Aranel had now set off on two quests, one – to save his father, two – to save the sea kingdom. As he glided silently towards the great depths of the ocean valley, he was troubled. He did not know which to go. Westward to help Ranaldi, deeper to heal his father. As he was wondering on his thoughts, a voice comes floating into his head. “Within what we seek we find another quest to seek.” a phrase told to Elementaru by her father Unrez I. Everything would fit as a puzzle piece if he thought hard enough. And then, a thought came to him. Ocean Volcanoes were found at the greatest depths of the vast ocean so if he went to help Ranaldi, he would succeed in following two tasks in one.

Prologue

 

It was summer 198AD when Aranel first realized he could breathe underwater. His life seemed that it would certainly become much more interesting. He could go down to meet the people of the oceans or go the deepest underwater without using magic. Yes, he was a son of a Wizard, Captain Seaber Veelisk. But he had grown up without any magic. He had hoped that he would get magic on his 14th birthday which was when you could initiate learning magic. But now, he did not care about getting magic. He had a cooler power. Going under Water.  

 

Chapter 1   

 

The freezing water had become more natural. At least for a third of the day, he was in the water. But then, one day, his father got ill with Arumenoa, a brain infection caused by Aru wolves' toxin. So Aranel searched the castle library to help his father. He found the book he wanted- medicinal plants for animal poison. He searched the page for Aru wolves. It said the Aglen plant that was only in the deep down of seas 500m (about twice the height of the Empire State Building) below sea level could heal Aru Wolves. The Aglen plant could only survive with the coolness and hotness of the magma and sea. So Aranel dived towards the depths of the great sea. As he had now tasted Iligi plants - sea plants of food, he had no requirement of food. What he could see was the wonderful creatures knowing each other's as equals, great spurts of lava bursting out of cracks in the ground and humpback whales with coral on their backs. But down he went in search of the Aglen.
